This work is very dynamic, pushing the limits of the “landscape” tag - the title is from a paradox : what happens when an irresistible force meets an unmovable object ? Seemed to fit !
“THE WORLD BEYOND” SERIES STATEMENT
These works are from an ongoing series of works titled "The World Beyond" Using the landscape as a metaphor, these works take the viewer on a journey through swirling mists, organic forms and iridescent skies. Using a mixture of brushes and palette knives, these oil paintings capture light and movement, while maintaining a dynamic and dramatic atmosphere. They are meditations created to evoke a connectedness to the ethereal and transitory existence of the human experience within nature, through an otherworldly realm of shifting reality.
