There is a tendency to look back and think how much better things were when we had no technology, no internet, no TV, no mobile phones, no electricity even, back to a golden time where we woke up with the dawn in harmony with the the natural world, simply growing or herding our food.

In reality life was never like that, it was full of hard physical struggle, a constant battle against the elements, and we forget how incredible the technology we already have is. Not all of it of course. When we start letting the tech control us is the day we will become robots. When we destroy the natural world to feed rampant consumerism is when we also obliterate humanity’s future civilisation.

However is there a point where humans, technology and nature can work together , a future that enhances all three ? There is no going back !
