I’ve always been fascinated by anthropomorphism and how it relates to human culture. Animal symbolism has been used since ancient times to represent gods, goddesses, spiritual forces and natural phenomena.

Mythologies throughout the world evolved to encompass stories with shapeshifting, animal human beings, symbolising natural phenomena, ritualistic practices, and magical processes.

Contemporary belief systems such as Freemasonry and Wicca, involve anthropomorphic beings, rife with ethical symbolism and meaning, whilst astrology endows personal traits with animals.

“All The Rage” uses animal symbolism, in a somewhat light hearted and humorous way, combined with a sci-fi technological edge.

They are hybrids of a future fashion trend, beings that are choosing to be genetically enhanced, spliced and fused with animals, as a statement of diversity and freedom…
