Early in 2019 I was contacted by Robert Ferguson from the Explorers Against Extinction a wildlife conservation campaign organised by registered UK charity the Real World Conservation Trust (UK charity No 1177505).

The primary aims of the campaign are to raise awareness about the threats facing the world’s most iconic species and their habitats while also raising significant funds for nominated projects pivotal in the battle to protect them.

Sketch for survival logoEvery year they run an auction raising funds and awareness of endangered species through “Sketch for Survival” where they invite artist from around the world to donate artwork to this great cause.

I decided to create a drawing which combined the magnificent Amur Leopard with it’s natural habitat of the forests which border China and Russia. This drawing is framed and on tour in the exhibition with upcoming dates in Olympia, London and the Royal Geographical Society.

You can bid on the original framed drawing here:
